SM Ink needed heating for a building that was previously unheated. Heritage knew just the heating solution to provide.

What was the brief?

Watford-based commercial printing business SM Ink came to us with an exciting project. Their 1500 square foot unheated factory was in desperate need of an efficient heating solution.

When was the work carried out?

The work was carried out over February 2023. At this chilly time of year, ensuring a heating solution was up and running as soon as possible was of top priority.

What work was carried out?

We installed a Powrmatic OUH Suspended Oil Heater to SM Ink’s factory, along with a new oil tank to replace an old, single skin steel tank.

How successful was the project?

Our project with SM Ink was a fantastic success. The Powrmatic OUH proved to be the ideal heating solution for their large factory. It’s the perfect system for a building relying on oil power, and simple to install and maintain.

This Powrmatic unit operates efficiently and in line with environmental guidelines, reducing levels of NOx (nitrogen oxide and nitrogen dioxide) with state of the art burners, and air movement and control technology. It does all this without compromising on performance, employing market leading burner technology.

Replacing SM Ink’s single skin oil tank was also hugely beneficial, as single skin tanks are one of the least secure oil storage solutions. New, ‘bunded’ oil tanks meet with UK national regulations, providing more environmental protection and a far safer way of storing oil.
